Who will be affected by Regulation (EU) 2016/425, and what is its main purpose?

The new regulation will now also apply to private use for protection against heat (e.g. oven gloves) and to distributors selling PPE products. It provides a detailed classification of PPE by performance levels and specifies three categories based on risk definitions.
